Tom and Peggy's 50th Anniversary, Cleveland Wedding Photographer
I always joke with my couples that I will be back in fifty years to photograph their big anniversary. God willing, I will be. This past weekend, I photographed Tom and Peggy's fifty years of bliss anniversary party. Now, I wasn't there for the first wedding, but I am so glad I actually got to photograph a couple who have been together through fifty years of marriage. This couple is near and dear to my heart, as they are also called Mom and Dad by me :). My siblings and I are responsible for some of the marriage milage, both good and bad. To celebrate this milestone, to say a big Thank You for being such good role models, and to show our love, the whole family threw them a party! Happy 50 Years to the best parents around!
Tom and Peg Circa February 12, 1966-
Young and in Love
Here is a great photo from the big day, February 12, 1966. The studio is no longer in business, and my folks can't remember the photographer's name. I want to say thank you to the unknown photographer who photographed this great shot! What a precious memory! One of my favorite things about being a photographer is providing these memories for my couple's future families.
I asked Sisson's flowers to re-create my mother's bouquet and my father's boutonnière... They did an incredible job! All of the flower pieces were created and inspired from that photograph!
Party Decoration and Cookies decorated by the Grandkids....
Prayer, and a home cooked dinner with stories and laughter and hugs .
Reading Facebook well wishes and messages.... They are stunned by the number of "Likes"
Still have those gorgeous baby blue eyes Tom!
Peggy's still has the same sense of humor...
Fifty years calls for Champaign and Toasts!
The amazing family that Tom and Peggy and 50 years have created-
Thank you Mom and Dad, here's to 50 more!
